EARTH REPAIR

From waste to a solid mineral: a new technology that captures CO2 from the atmosphere and cleans up the planet

THE FUTURE OF CARBON CAPTURE

Our team of future climate leaders is recycling waste materials that already exist to capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and safely store it as a stable mineral. Our process occurs at ambient conditions—no heat input or pressurization needed—thereby reducing costs and emissions, giving us a higher net sequestration of CO2.

OUR TEAM

Our student-led team is committed to mitigating the climate crisis through carbon removal, and given that the International Panel for Climate change (IPCC) predicts the need for 10 gigatons of net CO2 per year to manage this threat, we intend to pair skill with innovation to meet the demand. As one of the winners of the XPRIZE Carbon Removal Student Competition, we aim to remove a gigaton—that’s one billion tons—of CO2 with our cutting-edge carbon sequestration technology.
